My name is Chris Wencel, I got started in construction in 2011 by remodeling a bank owned four-plex near Almaden Expressway in San Jose. No plans drawn up, nor any permits pulled. Needless to say, I’ve learned a lot since then and I can now transfer my experience to your project. I have done a wide variety of remodel and construction projects including apartments and homes. In addition to standard work such as installing windows, doors, flooring, air conditioning ducting, and baseboards, I have also done more involved work such as installing steel support beams to replace load bearing walls and lifting up a house by 3 feet in order to gain headroom in the basement to build it out. I also like to add extra amenities such as steam showers, radiant floor heating, rain shower heads, fan heaters, reverse osmosis water filters, ductless mini splits, gas fire places, wide panoramic folding patio doors, cable/internet/security camera wiring,and soundproofing floors and walls.
